Finks Diner

The surrounding is pleasant enough, but not enough to compensate food. Only starter was good. One main was tasteless, including sauce so it did not improve the flavour. In the MIX GRILL dish only chicken and fried egg were good. Steak, black pudding, gammon were tough, overcooked. Chips and sausage below average, bearable O.K.  I will only visit again if I be really hungry and other pubs in 2 miles around will not let me in.

Last time we visited it was the Glamorgan Arms, what a transition ! The restaurant is superb, it really is impressive and they have obviously spent a fortune on the decor. The staff were very good, smart uniforms, patient with our younger family members and nothing too much trouble ! Food was excellent and service prompt. Drinks prices for soft drinks are extortionate, &pound;1.70 for a fruit shoot ? Thoroughly enjoyed and will return again soon.
